What did you listen to this morning?

On the way to work I listened to INXS‘ “One Of My Kind” and was singing it to myself on the subway (I spent the rest of my commute reading). When I got to work, let’s see, I put on a new hardcore band out of Detroit called The Armed, then I listened to Vince Staples Summertime ’06, a really great album. It’s hard for me to listen to music at work because I want to focus on the music and not my job.

Does this matter? Not really, because President Barack Obama got one over on me as this morning he listened to OutKast‘s best album Aquemini. And not just “Rosa Parks” some deep album cuts.

“[W]as listening to outkast/liberation,” the President tweeted this afternoon, when asked what he was listening to in the morning in the #askPOTUS hashtag. In addition the Cee-Lo green-featuring “Liberation”, he was also listening to “Lonely Boy” by The Black Keys.
